Do you remember those tests in school that told you what career you'd have in the future? While they can offer useful guidance, I hope you didn’t take them as an absolute blueprint for your life. It’s great to have direction, but that doesn’t mean it’s set in stone!

It’s also great to have people who support your career development, whether it's the boss who promises you a promotion, or the senior who helps you prepare for an interview. But ultimately, the decision is yours. If you follow someone else's path and later realize it's not what you want, it can bring a sense of guilt for having relied on their support.

That’s why it's so important to know what you truly want and take action toward it. And if you change your mind along the way, that’s perfectly okay! What matters is that you take responsibility for your choices and create your own path!
