Fabulous You
One thing I always encourage my clients to do is embrace authenticity.
But what happens when "being real" crosses the line into rudeness or disrespect?
Too often, people use "authenticity" as an excuse for bad behavior—thinking that being blunt, rude, or inconsiderate is acceptable because "that's just who I am."
BUT, we are still responsible for the impact our words and actions have on others. Being authentic should never come at the cost of being respectful or professional.
Who says you can't absolutely be your true self while contributing to a positive, supportive work environment? You just need to be mindful of the fine line that separates honesty from harmful behavior!
